Completed in fall of 2014, the VIP’s 100,000 SF customizable shell building continues to drive new projects to Vanderburgh County, Indiana
The VIP is now the first Industrial Park in Indiana to recieve the AT&T Fiber Ready designation. The VIP provides fiber optic cable to meet the need for faster and better communication links. AT&T is extending fiber optic cable to the park and installing an electronic switch on site. Fiber optic cable provides a common digital format via common or inter-linked networks for high speed voice, video, and data transmissions.
Specific benefits of fiber optics include:
Greater security
Higher data transmission rates
Complete electrical isolation between local and remote nodes
Freedom from crosstalk
Freedom for electro-magnetic interference
Absence of ground loops
Lower signal loss per unit distance (longer distance between repeaters)
